Hi, my name is Raimo Kumpulainen. Many people call me Ray. I live in Palm Beach County with my wife and four kids (one of which still lives at home).
Being a family man and a home-owner, I understand the importance of keeping loved ones safe and making every dollar count.
I'm a Florida State Licensed Home Inspector & InterNACHI Certified Master Inspector with over 25 years of combined experience in Home Inspections and Construction & Renovations, all in Palm Beach county.
I started in the construction business as a teenager in 1985, shortly after purchasing a condo with my brother. In 1992 my brother and I went into business together as Fenno Contracting & Flooring Co. (certified general contractor). Since then, I have hired and worked closely with sub-contractors of all trades including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, roofing and others. That experience, combined with what I have learned as an inspector over the years, has helped me build a following of homeowners, realtors and insurance agents who refer Palm Beach Inspections, LLC to their family, friends and clients.

Hi, I am Sebastian (Raimo's son and fellow inspector and Co-owner of Palm Beach Inspections LLC.)
I began working with tools and learning home construction techniques at the early age of 10 in 2005, when I assembled an entire set of kitchen cabinets on my own (my dad's standards for me were higher than what he expected from hired help).
I helped my dad with his construction and renovation company throughout my school-years, until I entered college. While still in college, I joined a High-End Residential & Commercial Technology Integration Company. After graduating with a Bachelors in Business in 2016 (Accounting major and 3.87 GPA), I worked my way up at that company from installation technician to being a systems engineer.
I since then felt lead to leave that industry and take everything I learned while working in High-End properties, and once again join my dad in the family business of inspecting, working as a State Licensed Home Inspector.
As a newer home-owner in Palm Beach County, I can freshly remember the complexities of the home-buying and insuring process, and have made it my mission to offer the best service and assistance to anyone looking to buy/insure a property.
Whether you are buying a home, or just purchasing insurance, you probably have many questions. Our goal is to walk beside you in the process and answer any questions that may come up.
We are dedicated to equipping you with all the information needed for peace of mind when making your decision.
When your inspection is complete and you receive the written report, the last thing you want to be faced with is something that is hard to understand.
Our reports are designed to read easy, providing you with the information you need, without the fluff.
We employ the use of Elite-Level measurement/monitoring equipment from top manufacturers such as Flir, Protimeter, Buck, Ideal, Zircon, Extech, and others. The use of this equipment allows us to test and measure things that would not be possible with our hands and eyes alone.
For example, infrared cameras assist in identifying temperature deviations along a wall or ceiling that may indicate the presence of moisture.
Our moisture meters can measure moisture on a surface or within a material such as drywall or wood.
We also have the equipment neccessary to measure for indoor air mold spore count and relative humidity, and will inform you if the measurements are not within normal range.
We can also identify unsafe electrical conditions such as no-ground and reverse polarity, and even boot-leg grounds with our special equipment (which most inspectors cannot detect).
Although inspectors are not required to use this specialized equipment (and many don't, unfortunately), we wouldn't have it any other way.
