Hi, my name is Raimo Kumpulainen. Many people call me Ray.
Being a family man and a home-owner, I understand the importance of keeping loved ones safe and making every dollar count.
I'm a Florida State Licensed Home Inspector, InterNACHI Certified Master Inspector, and also a CCPIA Certified Commercial Property Inspector.
I have over 25 years of combined experience in Property Inspections and Construction & Renovations, all in Palm Beach county.
I started work in the construction industry in 1985, shortly after purchasing a condo with my brother.
In 1992 my brother and I went into business together as Fenno Contracting & Flooring Co. (certified general contractor).
Since then, I have hired and worked closely with sub-contractors of all trades including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, roofing and others. That experience, combined with what I have learned as a Property Inspector over the years, has helped me build a following of property managers, real estate investors, homeowners, realtors and insurance agents who refer Palm Beach Inspections, LLC to their family, friends and clients.

Hi, I am Lukas Kumpulainen - Raimo's son and a State of Florida Licensed Home Inspector since 2022.
While in high-school, I often accompanied my dad on property inspections, where he gave me tasks such as checking the functionality of windows, safety of electrical outlets, and other tasks as well.
After completing high-school, I joined a High-End Residential & Commercial Technology Integration Company, where I worked for about a year-and-a-half.
In early 2022, I start working with my dad on a full time basis, because he felt I had the potential to learn quickly and become a very good inspector - he says that I am the most observant person he has ever met.
After starting work with my dad, I studied for and passed the State of Florida Home Inspection License exam in the summer of 2022.
Since then, I have made it my mission to offer the best service and assistance to anyone looking to buy/insure a property.
Whether you are purchasing a property, or just purchasing insurance, you probably have many questions. Our goal is to walk beside you in the process and answer any questions that may come up.
We are dedicated to equipping you with all the information needed for peace of mind when making your decision.
When your inspection is complete and you receive the written report, the last thing you want to be faced with is something that is hard to understand.
Our reports are designed to read easy, providing you with the information you need, without the fluff.
We employ the use of Elite-Level measurement/monitoring equipment from top manufacturers such as Flir, Protimeter, Buck, Ideal, Zircon, Extech, and others. The use of this equipment allows us to test and measure things that would not be possible with our hands and eyes alone.
For example, infrared cameras assist in identifying temperature deviations along a wall or ceiling that may indicate the presence of moisture.
Our moisture meters can measure moisture on a surface or within a material such as drywall or wood.
We also have the equipment neccessary to measure for indoor air mold spore count and relative humidity, and will inform you if the measurements are not within normal range.
We can also identify unsafe electrical conditions such as no-ground and reverse polarity, and even boot-leg grounds with our special equipment (which most inspectors cannot detect).
Although inspectors are not required to use this specialized equipment (and many don't, unfortunately), we wouldn't have it any other way.
